We don't eat meat, and in certain company that freaks people out...or makes them curious. Even after 20 years of eating this way, we still get the occasional question: "What do you guys eat?!" The Veganic Verses is our answer. We started in while living in the South, where being veg can be challenging.
This is a mere sampling of the scrumptious bounty we enjoy, and could also serve as a resource for anyone interested in trying vegan cuisine themselves.
Lunch today came from Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn. They make burritos the size of a small country. Or your head (whichever visualization works best for you). It's the Thai Mee Up burrito with grilled tofu, add avocado. Yum.
Love Flaming Amy's Leichtenstein-sized burritos! I use to go to twice a week when I lived near by. Haven't been there in such a long time; I'm going this weekend.
Have you guys been to the new Thai place where Viet-bistro use to be? I went and didn't think it was as good, but still liked it.
alltime fave burrito "barn". In fact all time fave "barn" for any meal. actually i didn't know that it was called burrito barn so i am having a hard time coping with that.... give me a minute. love this place, as my daughter calls it flaming amy's flaming buttholes-she loves the tofu! wish there were more veg friendly places by me.
